CATHOLIC PRESS MOVES TO SQL FRAMEWORK
Liturgical Press, a well-known catholic publisher based in Collegeville Minnesota, has elected to implement the integrated Élan Framework. As an upgrade to their current CISPUB system, the press will first implement the unified Élan SQL Database (a common database structure across all MSGL software applications, including CISPUB and The Cat’s Pajamas). This will allow the company to use the new Élan Reporting and Analysis systems, Rights and Royalties and other Élan modules without affecting the current customer service and fulfillment staff, who will continue to use the CISPUB system.
Liturgical press publishes five journals, two seasonal Mass guides, a Sunday Bulletin series and a steady flow of books, compact discs and CD-ROMs on the liturgy, theology, monastic studies and Scripture. The press publishes under 3 imprints: Liturgical Press Books, Michael Glazier Books and Pueblo Books.
