GANNETT HEALTHCARE GROUP STREAMLINES ADVERTISING WORKFLOW

Gannett Healtcare Group

Gannett Healthcare Group, a division of Gannett Co., Inc. (NYSE: GCI), has signed an agreement to extend their advertising systems online and further streamline the department’s workflow processes with the Order-to-Print™ solution. Details of the agreement with The Media Services Group and CNI Corp will provide a suite of software applications and integration services.

Online ad submissions will be handled with CNI’s AdDesk product, which will allow customers to log on to a website, view open insertion orders that were created in Élan Ad and submit advertising files. The system will automatically inspect file submissions and provide immediate pass/fail notification details to the customer. Once the files are accepted they will be available through AdDesk’s file management and job tracking system.

Gannett Healthcare will also implement AdCatalog, a companion product that stores previously run ads, allowing the customer to browse through these files online and easily assign them to open insertion orders.

In addition, the company will also install the E-Proofing and E-Tearsheet modules.

E-Proofing will provide an interactive mark-up and revision tool to manage in-house ads and coordinate changes and switch-outs through the company's website.

E-Tearsheets will allow advertisers to view their completed ads online, along with facing and backing pages. Display options will generate these files in JPEG format for fast loading or PDF for high resolution. Complete booking information will also be provided through an interface with Élan Ad.

Gannett Healthcare currently relies on The Media Services Group's Ad, Multi-Media, Book, Circ, Event (Conference and Exhibition) and CRM modules to run their business with about 80 licensed users.
